I showed one of the guides over there how to do it properly but they are so set in there ways not sure if he took it on board? best by far Sat and Oscar

Interesting video, forever seeing ordinary Joe's getting grief for handling fish on catch and release yet seems acceptable for the 'professional ' angler. Not having a pop, genuinely interested in your thoughts on c&r protocol. Cheers

fair comment Paul normally unhook in the net and don't touch them where possible, but I'm an honest guy and we really wanted to show the size of the fish we were catching and all swam away strongly, if any do not make it I'll knock them and trust me my Polish wife eats every fish I bring back!!!lol they are resilient little buggers and I have see a lot of stocking where they do through them in from quite a height just to shock them up a bit, but I have seen some horrific returns in the past in my view as long as they go back quickly they are normally not pike food!

@@troutwithleigh4503 yeah they certainly went back no probs, a lot of guys up here in Scotland manhandle them. I've seen posts of guys getting slated yet when the better known angler does it nothing is said. Great fishing, hopefully get back down to the mecca soon. Cheers
