Sharing your symptoms is not complaining. Just because you’re experiencing pain which is a negative does not equal complaining. It’s ok to feel what you feel. Pregnancy is HARD!

Not the seeing baby bump for me because I had been pretty bloated throughout my first trimester so my bump being more pronounced was subtle going into my second trimester, but DEFINITELY when I felt that first little flutter of a kick from my baby... I cried like a baby lol (joyfully).

In my experience, having less patience for people imposing their advice or opinion did NOT go away after baby. If anything it felt like I found my voice a little more. I wasn't just tolerating people to be polite anymore. It was like , no I need to speak up for my baby now. But I enjoy it! It sounds like a negative trait but it's good for us sometimes. Helps us establish and recognize our boundaries. I think it makes us happier in the long run. It's empowering and builds confidence!

Totally agree! Having my son has stripped me of having a filter(for the most part) but it’s also opened my eyes and has helped me to become a lot more aware as a person and socially. We love personal growth ❤️

I’m 22 weeks and this has made me feel sooo much better because I experienced some of the same and just felt like I was complaining and the only one that was like I’m just exhausted and there is no motivation to be found early on ... thankfully I can now stay awake without a midday nap 😂❤️ still so excited to follow along in your journey

Being annoyed at unsolicited advice is just part of the gig. My daughter is almost 13 now (don’t ask me when that happened, she was a baby yesterday) but people will always throw in their two cents. As a single mother I can say I would dwell on comments a lot since I was parenting solo but I learned to trust my instincts. You and Grant are going to be amazing parents so you will know what is right for your family. So happy for you both ❤️

Prenatals with stool softener was a savior to me in all 4 of my pregnancies. Mine was a prescription but it may be over the counter now. Ask your doc.

I have horrible tummy issues and my best friend who is a nurse told me if you have a trapped burp if you put your hands above your head and stretch it will come out. It helps me every time. Hope that helps 💜

Thank you so much for sharing! I am in week 8 & 2 days and just had some spotting. I suffered a miscarriage earlier this year and so every time I have any spotting or pain i get super nervous and scared every time. We also got to see out little one early at 6 weeks and 4 days and got a good heartbeat! ❤️

I did IVF as well. I’m only 5 weeks 5 days pregnant now. But yeah so far in 1st trimester is stressful. I spotted as well in week 4 and only lasted a few hours but freaked me out. But I’m so happy I’m pregnant now!! ❤

Happy to hear you got your HCG test positive! I'm on my 10th week after 4 IVF (two miscarriages, 6th and 10th week). Spotting really doesn't have to mean anything bad (had in in the first miscarriage, but also now around 6th week). Just be sure to inform your doctor. Though it freaked me out as well, I was so sure this one is gonna be a disaster again. The most important and calming thing for me are the ultrasounds, where I can check if the size is right and if the heart is beating 😊 Have you been on your first ultrasound already? In any case, I wish you the best luck 🍀🤞

I’m 11 weeks today and it’s so nice to not feel alone with all my crazy symptoms. I was completely blindsided. I expected nausea and to be tired. But to be this sick and this tired is insane. Like holy crap. And the dryness. Oh the dryness. So many symptoms I was not expecting.

You are so right about worrying, mine are grown but you don’t stop it just changes! Your bump is beautiful because you are growing a sweet wonderful blessing! 💜 ETA: back in my pregnancy many years ago my doctor put me on iron so therefore he also told me to take stool softeners. I was very gassy and heartburn throughout mine.

That round ligament pain is for REAL! I complained about it to my doctor and all I got was a shoulder shrug. Common sense finally told me it was just stretching in the abdomen for the baby. This was before a huge internet presence so I had nothing to seek answers on! Be comforted- it is normal and it gets intense sometimes.

Your “implantation” experience is exactly how it happened for me! Just a random pinchy situation in the left side of my pelvis, when I wasn’t doing a single thing, and I just KNEW! Confirmed at the first ultrasound that my daughter was in fact tucked a bit further into the left side of my uterus, so it’s likely that that’s exactly what I felt. Pregnancy is a trip!

True story. I was 125lbs when I got pregnant. At the end I was 200lbs and had a 8lb 9 oz kid. Both times too. Both kids were an inch of being the same. Daughter was 20 inches long and son was 21. I got crowned with stretch marks. I ate everything lol. I have no regrets lol. Healthy kids and man did I eat lol. I don’t do that now but I swore I was never full. I was constantly hungry. My husband knew what I wanted when I said I’m hungry lol. We laugh about it all the time. My craving with my first was chocolate waffle cones with chocolate jimmies and sour patch kids. With my second kid it was Wendy’s chicken sandwiches and frosties. ❤️. I’m loving your bump. I’m so excited for you.

My dog couldn't care less, still now, but my cat, that was another story. Laid on stomach and purred every night and then the baby would move. Once I had my daughter cat never laid on me since..

My mom's cat Gracie did same w me, I moved back home @38 long story there. Gracie bonded w my daughter too. When came home she would cry to see baby so easy on had supervised visits. By 5 months hard to keep both apart so sweet finding curled up together. Now Lillith loves cats so much and as kitty was older health failed 3 years back. My mom asked us to go vets with her so we did out of love and respect. I explained to kid about end of life and celebrate memories of beloved pets, family and friends. We all held G and took few pic as well.

When I was pregnant with my 1st daughter, my husband made me a beautiful pork roast for dinner for my 1st mother's day. I could not bring myself to eat it, and I cried and cried. Also we moved into our 1st house (still in the 1st house 25 years later) anyway, the former owner left these two coffee mugs. I could NOT have them in the house. The whole thought of them made me want to puke everywhere! Pregnancy is WEIRD!

Also try Mylanta and drinking almond milk for the heartburn! The almond milk is unique but it worked like a charm for both pregnancies of mine- especially when you’re in the 3rd trimester and you have no room and the heartburn is murderous

I have struggled with severe exhaustion my whole pregnancy (currently 38 weeks). The way I have described it is it literally feels like I am going to pass out/faint/die if I don’t go sleep when it hits. It is almost like an intense instinctual reaction or something. Like, way more intense exhaustion than just normal tiredness like if you stayed up late. It doesn’t help that now I am struggling with sleeping for more than a 4 hour period at night so the naps during the day are more frequent and longer. I guess my body will be ready for when baby is here.

Gaviscon tabs or a liquid heartburn medication.I use to get really bad chest pain at night.... try not to eat right before bed.Also I burp a lot and my naturopathic doctor put me on digestive enzymes and it’s helped a lot with the burping.I’m not sure if you can have digestive enzymes but papaya is a natural enzyme so you could probably eat that.They just help you digest your food better.

You should try manual lymph drainage massage for your injection lumps. I had an iron injection leak up to my skin and my doctor said the mark would be permanent. It went away after one manual lymph drainage session.

Omg, I'm due 8/31! 🎉🎉🎉 Can relate to the exhaustion and getting annoyed with people! I never comment on negative stuff on social media but I just couldn't help myself in my first trimester!!! Loved this video, made me feel less alone ❤️
