Note on the hair situation: I think it’s totally fine to tell your hair stylist that something’s off. I’m not a hairdresser but I’m an artist who works on commissions and I always tell my clients is my job to help you find the language to describe what you do/don’t like. I think just having an open attitude (which I’m sure is a given) makes this kind of request totally reasonable. A big part of an arts/design/cosmetology education is translating creative speak into layman’s terms🙌

💙 I eventually did but didn’t want to bug her on the weekend. She literally just told me it was the toner I wasn’t liking and had me use a specific shampoo to get it to lift a little faster. she’s awesome and totally understood without me knowing what I was seeing ☺️

Water therapy is amazing. My sister has Cerebral Palsy that affects her lower extremities. She loved water therapy. It allowed her to move freely and made her feel free. So happy for Lucy. She is a bright light. ❤

I think what you’re noticing with your hair is that it is a warmer tone. Ask you hairdresser for a cooler tone & I think you will feel better about it.

Jergens gradual tan has been consistently great for me for 10+ years. I use the lightest shade for my fair skin and love the result, but you might want to start with the medium shade

Hairstylist here, I think you normally have more of an icy blonde and more highlights on the underneath too, since it’s looking darker there now. If you mention it to your stylist it’s an easy fix, and change of toner. 😊

I had 3 kids in daycare (3 kids under 4)so the daycare situation and holidays could potentially be expensive. So I made all of my own Valentines day cards for the kids, with the computer, and then I added a little treat bag with their Valentine’s Day cards. My kids are now 31, 29 and 26. So things have probably changed a lot since then. Enjoy the process, it’s so much fun!

Try the Jergens Natural Glow in shower self tanner. The medium to deep color gives a good color when used every day or every other day. B.Tan plump up the bronze is good too for color but it is a foam that has to dry down.

Jergens has the best and affordable gradual tanner..you need to apply it frequently, like every day after your shower but it builds up to a beautiful color. Your hair looks good but I think what your seeing is maybe it's too "warm"/"golden" as usually it's cooler/Ash-ey.. Good luck to Grant on his journey to great health...and now I want a dexascan.. I'm going to ask my doc !

To the hair - I had to tell my stylist I hated my hair and she fixed it for me so fast. They don’t want you to be unhappy with your hair. Mine ended up going terribly yellow (to me) and she brought me in, added lowlights/ toned it and I was so thrilled with it after 😊

I’ve totally told my hair stylist before that I didn’t know why I wasn’t happy but something was off. She took me in immediately and said, I’ll fix it girl. I think that’s another benefit of staying with three same stylist over the years, she knew exactly what was wrong!

It looks like they used a warmer toner. It looks nice though! It's not all one color. But you should let them know! Walmart has a really good gel tanner. We use the Factor meals for our dinners and it works out great! They make good pancakes and stuff too. That's SO exciting about the Pre-School for Lucy!! Honestly it's a great thing for you and her. Our toddler is 4 months older than yours and she is also tall and we get the same comments. At the park people get offended because she isn't talking enough for their liking or can't do something and then it comes out that they thought she was 4. That is a bummer about the Costco potpie!! Everyone told me those were good.

I can’t wrap my head around being able to just get a DEXA scan. I have osteoporosis and Osteopenia and have to fight my insurance company to pay for them (I’m 43) & my co pay is ridiculous😩

Let grant explain the Dexa scan, I want to know everything he said. We have been attempting Dexa scans for a few years because of chemo treatments and side effects but my kid won’t stay still enough for the whole thing but we still try. All we do it is for his bone density but now I’m curious of what else we can know.

In elementary school we had to make a Valentine decorated shoebox to take to school to collect Valentines from our classmates. You weren't required to give every kid in your class one, so of course some kids got their feelings hurt because they didn't get as many as other kids. That was 50 yrs. ago. Wonder if it's the same today?
