Leighton Hall - Edge Offroad Enduro Play Day - Novice Full Lap

Hello Everyone,
I attended the Edge Offroad Playday event Last weekend at Leighton Hall to give the Beta and myself a run out. 🏍️🌄
The video is a little lengthy from my usual uploads as I am very much a beginner in the Enduro world and massively out of shape as you will hear & see 🙄🤣
None the less, testing yourself and pushing your limits is where you grow so really glad I stuck at it and got 4 laps in throughout the day.
The lap was 5 miles long with a mixture of everything, The roots and Rocks were like Glass and claimed myself on the out lap and this lap a few times, luckily with no injury as I wasn't really moving to fast.

Hi mate. Question. I’m totally new to this. Last bike I rode was a 125 CZ to go to work on 20 years ago. I really want to have a go at doing this. If I get a bike (thinking 150 KTM etc) and turn up to one of these play days I’m just afraid of looking like a total donkey not having ridden on dirt before. Had you much experience prior to this?

Hi pal - no worries at all on the question.. this was my 2nd play day like this so not very quick and just doingy own thing. The bike would be fine as would you, the marshalls are always willing to help and take you around if you need a hand for a lap. Edge specifically do a guided sighting lap which is great. Cost wise everything is usually laid out on the entry page but you will need an iopd day or year license with edge and Nora license with some of the other venue runners.. £10-£25 for day or year license. These are lap orientated sites as they usually hold races the day after the playday but there are other open sites which don't have a lap and you just go where you want, like cowm leisure (Rochdale) wern ddu (Oswestry Wales).
