For the record Ozzy introduced the world to Zakk, not the other way around. You can either love Ozzy with wild abandon like I have for almost 40 years or you can hate him. He has introduced many guitar players to the game but don't ever forget that they got where they are because of Ozzy.

I don't mean to be insulting to any of you people that made those comments about playing an acoustic guitar like that but it is really no harder to play than an electric guitar when it is a professional and it was set up correctly I play a talk and we need 2001 special edition with the dolphin inlay takamini I meant to say anyhow it plays just like an electric guitar and sounds excellent so just to let you people know when you actually play guitar for over 30 years and when you play on professional equipment it's really not that hard all right take care and I hope I didn't offend anybody

To anyone attempting to disparage this performance. Yes it is a modded and distorted acoustic guitar. It was made for this kind of performance. Zakk as well as many other artists love the natural reverb and full sound associated with a hollow body guitar not to mention they are just comfortable to play.The second remark I wish to make is, if you look at someone playing an overdriven or “grainy” guitar and think that they are trying to cover up shoddy technique, please come back to reality. Gain increases volume and output. Period. It doesn’t pick what sounds to accentuate. It makes EVERYTHING more noticeable. Sure you could get away with a buzz or two but anyone truly listening could still hear them as well as any other mistake. Just enjoy a great player sitting in with a group of old pros having a good time playing a classic for an involved crowd. Don’t attempt to discredit a performer who has played the soundtrack of multiple generations and is regarded as one of the best by bringing up some nonsense you saw posted somewhere else by some other ignorant individual hating that they won’t ever try let alone work hard enough to have the ability to play half as well as the old man jamming in the back.

Whoever "lowered" the action on that acoustic is the man.
@jimmysupafly15474 жыл бұрын
Lol you gotta agree with that statement. Although Stevie Ray had some pretty high action and heavy strings on his electric that would make an acoustic look like a joke.
@patrickgroll20463 жыл бұрын
It doesn’t matter because you’re not hearing the acoustic. Watch the notes, timing and bends. This is - sorry to say - overdubbed

66.6% was rocking out to the song, and the other 33.4% was wondering what the hell easy was going on with the band? It looked like the couple down the street started a band. I can just imagine the conversation that chick had before she left. "Ok Beth, I left you some lasagna in the fridge and I want you to finish your algebra homework. Don't stay up too late and DONT have a party or invite that boy Steven over here. We won't be back till pretty late." Beth asks, "where the heck are you and dad going? You got all dressed up?!" "Your father and I have a gig with Zakk Wylde. Your uncle Barry is going to be sitting in on rhythm guitar. Goodnight pumpkin! 😘 "

That's Les Paul's band. Les basically invented electric guitar. The old guy playing guitar here is Lou Pallo and Zakk Wylde will tell you that the man is a monster. The man of a million chords. Pretty hip stuff

@michaelschmidt97082 жыл бұрын
@@careystuart He does RIP! But he also has a softer side. His second album 'Book of Shadows' was a semi-acoustic affair (Zakk also plays piano very well) and shows his strength as a pure songwriter. BoS and 'Pride & Glory' are his 2 best albums. I saw him on both those tours and he was fantastic in each setting (even had a string quartet for some of the BoS songs). Zakk is a rare multi-faceted mega talent!
