Everything Conan Osiris wants to convey in this beautiful song is exactly what you're talking about. Indefinition, convergence of love and disillusionment, the mixture of sounds, clothes and props as a range of options. The exotic and sublime movements of the interpreter and his brilliant dancer, everything is a visual proposal that almost hypnotizes. And as if that were not enough, it is emotionally sung in Portuguese in a warm, deep voice and immediately transports us everywhere. It's like a trip around the World in just over 3 minutes.

It’s too bad the staging is so bizarre because musically, the song is one of the strongest of the year. It’s very mysterious and creative while also having a nice melody. On one hand, the staging from the national final fits the nature of the song. But it’s also distracting as you said.
