My knickers are HOT POLE French and fishnet, where they originated!. The band consisted of Ross Middleton, previously of post-punk Glasgow band Positive Noise, and session sax player Gary Barnacle - both worked so well together for the very brief time they were a duo.

A few corrections to your subtitles: -It's "leave a TRYPTYCH in the bed, a sacrifice in the bank", keeping the religious imagery of the line going... -It's "our triumph's on parade" not "I'll try on some parade". -Also, the chorus is "here comes OUR love cascade" (read Ross's lips at 1:09, 2:27, and especially 2:47). -It's "and YOU loved me in theory but couldn't stand the mess". -It's "but when I'm in your arms I know a FAITH without fear". Thanks very much, I'll change them as soon as possible. It was very difficult to understand the lyrics, and I had to listen about 25 times to get them as right as possible. Amazingly, there isn't a single page on the internet that has the lyrics until I tried to do them myself. I even bought a copy of the vinyl record but it doesn't include the lyrics.
