True it do be respawns fault. On the topic of your last video though, I understand that the length of the ad was most likely due to the fact that they gave you a script to read out. I think you just got unlucky with the script being 2 minutes while your content has always been shorter. What I can suggest is that, I think people would be fine even if the video was 5mins and the ad was 2mins, if the ad was just placed at the very end of the video. What bothered me wasn't the length of the ad but the timing, it felt quite intrusive.
