LEJOG+: Lands End to John O' Groats cycling including Cape Wrath, Orkney & Shetland: A presentation.

In 2022 we two brothers set out to cycle-camp from Land's End to John O' Groats.
Most of the way we followed the SUSTRANS route guide but we took diversions to visit some locations of significance to our family history and to visit Cape Wrath.
We also extended the route using ferries to visit the Orkney and Shetland Islands. In 2024 it seems uncertain whether the ferry from JOG to Orkney will continue operating.
This is a presentation about that journey, written and narrated by my brother.

That's such a nice comment! I'm really glad! The SUSTRANS route connects lots of nice cycle routes. Sometimes there is a lot of weaving about on (mainly pleasant) minor roads to line yourself up for the next railway path or forest trail, but there is a lot of very nice riding and scenery.

Nice one gents. A great narration of the whole trip; I've watched some of your other videos. When I was 40 and cycle touring in Scotland, an elderly(?), retired man cycled into camp, another day on his Lejog completed. We chatted for a while. And now 23 years later, it's now my turn to head South for that month long ride...maybe next year. 😊
