That's a real cute pedal for the money - a lot of functionality and some really nice effects. We've come a long long way since the 90s on these kind of units, there's never been a better time to be a guitarist old or new...

Nathan I really enjoyed your video on the Cube baby. I am in my 45th year of playing in classic rock bands. About 10 years ago I fell in love with the Fender Mustang 3 amp because of the modeling and all the on board effects and cabinets it offers. But I am getting some age on me so I wanted to downsize for a practice amp and only tote the Mustang around for gigs. So I picked up a little Crate 15 watt practice amp that has reverb and a fair clean sound, but the overdrive was sorely lacking. So I just bought the Cube baby and I have to say for what it is it is a remarkable little unit. It is so small that I actually fastened it to my guitar strap with velcro, then I plugged my Les Paul into it lastly plugged my wireless into it. You can be on the dance floor and change sounds on the fly. It works well with the Mustang 3 at gigs and equally well with the tiny Crate Screech amp for practice. I would have never bought one of these had I not watched your video on it. A seasoned player or a beginner could both benefit from this thing. Thank you so much for your video.

I liked the CAli amp (Soldano IR) when playing the Americana Tom Petty-ish tone in the Live Mode the best! Definitely sounded the fullest and had possibilities with the sound I seek when playing out, as when the volume was turned up, the overdrive didn't overpower the overall tone!!!

Sounds like the amp sim or IR is tied to the cab/reverb meaning if you want reverb you need cab sim running if not No cab sim unless you dial the verb down. What a horrible idea. Hahah. But the price is there for a reason. This was definitely a budget but platform a company built and sold cheap as it ran out of money or a company built it cheap and put their time into amp IR tones and effects but not the pedal as much ...Not sure how long these will last but seems cool. I actually like the lead and chorus cleans. Would like to demo this. Can't hurt.

I was recording this via USB straight into the computer. You can see the cable coming out of the top of the unit in the video. If you plug it into an amp you’ll need to turn off the speaker simulator (IR). Otherwise, you’ll need flat range response speakers.
