Special Sadya Style Sambar :-
Ingredients:-
1. Yam (Chana) - 100 gms
2. Sambar Chillies (Finely Chopped) - 5 nos.
3. Drumstick - 1 Big
3. Raw Plantain (Nendraka) - 1 Big
4. Raw Mango - 1 Small Piece
5. Ash Gourd (Kumbalanga) - 100 gms
6. Snake Gourd (Padavalanga) - 100 Gms
7. Long Bean (Achingapayar) - 4 nos.
8. Carrot - 1 Small
9. Eggplant (Vazhuthananga) - 1 Small
10. Coconut (Grated) - 1 Medium
11. Cumin Seeds (Jeera) - 1 1/2 Tsp
12. Green Chillies - 5-6 nos.
13. Coconut Oil - 1 Tbs
14. Water - 1 1/2 Cups
15.Turmeric Powder - 3/4 Tsp
16. Kashmiri Chilli Powder - 1 Tbs
17. Salt - According to taste
18. Additional Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp
19. Curry Leaves
20. Additional Coconut Oil - 1 1/2 Tbs to 2 Tbs
{All vegetables to be cut into big square pieces}
