I think you should rather play that with an original historical Instrument. Wrong pitch, Wrong tone colour. This was wrote for baroque Oboe, so try using the original Instrument. But she´s still good

@@assumptacs197 Well I respect that, but in my opinion the harpsichord would be unnecessary then, because either you try to portray the way it really was played back then, or you are just making music, in which case a harpsichord would be obsolete and replaced by a piano. I think you should either play it the historical or modern way, but not a mix. For me, Bach with a modern Oboe is just like Chopin or Schumann on a harpsichord. I find it awful. And so you don´t understand me wrong, I am playing both Instruments, the baroque and modern Oboe, just for the right pieces. I love the modern Oboe with all my heart, just not for baroque music...
