I bought this Anna 2 from you in January as my first espresso machine and I'm still very happy with it, such a nice value!

If you wanna do coffee first then steam, how do you refill the boiler after steaming?

Should I keep steaming at the same level all the way or adjust it during the process?

I am very interested in this machine. I was looking at some De'Longhi and Sage/Breville machines. These machines make it easy with weight of coffee ground and amount of water. Here it all seems to be manually and less "guided". Any tips or best practice for me from an owner? I guess after some time you have it in your blood to count the time of running the water or an eye on how much coffee grind is in. thx

I just counted two attempts from the video, its edited but both times i nearly was exactly 30 seconds.

Thanks for the video 👌🏽 can't decide between Anna Tem or Anna lem 🤔 is the pid a game changer ?
@PanzerIV88 Жыл бұрын
The PID is the thing that makes the BIGGEST difference, it's a HUGE game changer, otherwise I would say just get a (Gaggia Classic Pro). Gotta be foul to save only 100$ to skip on the PID! The price difference is so low between both that the one without shouldn't even exist at all.

I agree with PanzerIV, the PID solves one of the biggest issues with single boiler machines and that is temperature stability and makes the machine much more consistent as a result. I believe it is well worth the additional cost.

Whats the point of a pid if the temperature changes whilst brewing? Would it not be better to get a machine with bigger boiler like quick mill pippa or ecm?
@iDrinkCoffeeCanada Жыл бұрын
The water that you are brewing with should be what the PID indicated at the start. As cold water enters the boiler it is normal for the temperature to drop. You just have to wait for it to recover before brewing your next shot.

Can the LELIT logo be removed? I'm a bit particular about my coffee corner aesthetic, and the red just stands out like a sore thumb
@iDrinkCoffeeCanada2 жыл бұрын
It is a sticker that is removable.

How much grams you using for double espresso ? Thanks
@seersdad285220 күн бұрын
18g is pretty standard but it depends on your basket size most stock double baskets can hold 15g-18g, triple baskets can be from18-21/22 ish dont wanna overfill your basket. Puck screen + VST triple shot basket usually way to go for better water distribution.

Kindly advise which one has a better value for money, Anna 2 or Anita, given they both have pressure gauge and PID. Thx
@iDrinkCoffeeCanada Жыл бұрын
I don't have any personal experience working with the Anita but from the looks of it I believe that it going to be the same as the Anna with an added grinder.
