@@hiskishow Because high quality tobacco has an amazing smell which I assume translates to flavor (I've never drank tobacco so I wouldn't know), which I'm sure is what he's using, I doubt he cut open a Marlboro and dropped it in..lol

While I found it a bit weird at first as well, I kind of started to like it. It's not the usual meaningless generic background music. It gives it a different touch - as well as the stuff he did there. So I guess it's a perfect harmony.

Was watching this as it happened back in a day. No RTD, WDT, puck screens, levelers, distributors, spinners of all types and sizes...just grind, bit of Stockfleth, tamp with a good old Reg Barber, lock and pull. The very same prep sequence I use today.

@Sam Lutfi not at all, song is full of constant dancing in tension, something a competition like this would definitely have an air of. the song is mellow, much like his demeanor and what i imagine his headspace the whole time. if anything id have the music mixed a touch quieter and if it really bugs you, maybe an instrumental of the song.

You are certainly a charming person and I very much enjoy your recipes and presentation. I would especially like to compliment your device of holding your face near the thing you are talking about, leaning down over the food or crouching next to the oven. It adds an intimacy with the food that I like very much.

I really like that tobacco idea with the last one! As an amateur connoisseur of both finely crafted coffees and premium handmade smokey treats I believe that they go hand in hand. There's not much that can contend with the beautiful marriage of a fine dark coffee and a high quality cigar in the morning!
