God, I love her voice. And her phrasing and attack are superb. She is criminally underrated. Go Stacey!

AMEN! At present, we have a huge number of really good female jazz vocalists, and I think Stacey is the best of them.

A great and memorable song, sung by the best singer we have. This is a ballad; Stacy makes it swing. And that voice!

Love this song and Stacey's delivery. Can't decide whether this one or Diana Krall's slow ballad version wins it! Have played it both ways with small ensembles and it's a great song either way.

Listening their works and seeing bands rendition, checking all behavior each other for perfect rendition, How could this be possible, just like seeing my parents. I can see bestest couple ever in earth from the beginning of my birth. Sure.

I remember the 60s and being dazzled by the major-ninth and flatted-fifth chords of Jobim, Wanderley, and Sergio Mendes. Their influence is still being felt, I believe.

I totally agree! She is "criminally underrated" her story telling of lyrics is totally meaningful and delivered in a super cool style. She also surrounds herself with superbly empathetic musical backings.

More important with sweet beautiful & sound from sexaphone by. Timolson which make song more effective. With. Stacey

I agree. But his name is Jim Tomlinson. He is Stacey's husband, and is obviously a lyrical tenor saxophonist with a gorgeous tone. He's on par with Scott Hamilton concerning those qualities. Stacey's phrasing is decent, but not as adventurous as a fully confident singer.
