Something that Lelouch and C2 share is that they're both flawed people. They both have done bad things that might make them seem like villains to outsiders. Lelouch and C2 both have to lead secretive lives. Almost nobody knows the full extent of Lelouch and C2's flaws and strengths. However, Lelouch and C2 are able to be themselves around each other. They share a powerful bond that helps motivate them to stay optimistic and stay focused on their missions. C2 may be a witch, but she'll always have her warlock, Lelouch, by her side.

I forgot C.C. was sent to China for political reasons. It's funny but C.C. has a lot of skills for someone regarded as lazy. She was a master of disguises, a skilled KMF pilot, and knowledgeable in diversion tactics, firearms, and hand-to-hand combat.

I WISH we could of gotten a scene where Zero intraduces C2 to the Black Knights in R1 Ep18 right before Zero told the higher ups in the Black Knights their Positions in the Order and not the normal scene, where Zero never intraduces C2 to them and they just see her and they sees her as ”Zero’s Mistress”.

Thats the first thing I thought, but remember this is the part where C.C. considers Lelouch as accomplice and someone she can use to inherit her code. In R2 we know that C.C. has geass which made the people around her love her. Yes people love her but because of Geass, an empty love. I think what C.C. show in this scene 1:12 was sympathizing with Shirley. Because she knows (what it feels to love someone one sidely) that Shirley is serious in loving Lelouch but Lelouch doesn't reciprocate her love back...

I don't think that the multiple emotions are that exclusionary. CC can be low key jelous while having the other motivations as well. Jelousy might not be the main motivator but still a factor.

also, in the light novel. C.C had chapters where she's grieving over Mao and Lelouch knows it eventhough C.C never told him her feelings about Mao's death. He said something to her to cheer her up.

Great analysis. I really love Lelouch's love interests like Shirley, CC and Kallen. They are all great characters that Lelouch could have fallen in love with. Lelouch and Shirley would have been the dream.

Everybody forgets CC is book smarts and street smarts. Not to mention, she knows a lot of languages. She's more worth than the rest of the Black Knights. I am always confuse why Kallen and Ohgi (who cares about misogynist Tamaki) never talked to Zero in the limo during the Six clan meet. Just another hint why Lelouch (and CC) doesn't trust them fully.
