I love the fairground pieces, but they can be so loud! Disappointing tbh. The lack of polystyrene might be better. It can get into the mechanisms and cause real headaches.

Some of them are that noisy my Dog barks at them, like everytime Santa's Freeze Zone drops, I have to drown the noise out with Christmas Songs.

It’s more noisy when starting up / shutting down as the extra motor is in use to raise and lower. Sometimes makes a grinding sound on start or stop. Iv sent a couple back and all seem to do this. Gates garden centre also said they tested a few and they all do this. Yours was really messed up, I’d send that back too. I ordered the giant swing and one of the riders restraint was missing from that, not even in box. Probably could have repaired but as you say for the price of them we want perfection. I think best to send all back as maybe Lemax will do a better job the more returns they get.

Thanks for the info. I always wondered what they do with returns, do they send them back to Lemax, do they try and fix them and send them back out, or do they write them off. I hope they don't send them back out broken to someone else!!!

Surely they wouldn’t send to another customer if broken. I presumed they would have sent them back to lemax and the would get a refund on their defective stock. Interesting to see what garden centres buy these for and then him much they make selling them.
