Boku no Hero Academia is an action, comedy and shounen anime that was released in 2016 by Studio Bones. The original My Hero Academia manga (僕のヒーローアカデミア) is being written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi and has been serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump from 2014.
My Hero Academia anime focuses on Midoriya Izuku, a young boy who dreams of becoming a Hero despite not having a Quirk and being bullied by Katsuki Bakugo throughout school. He idolize the world's greatest hero, All Might, who decides to pass down his Quirk 'One For All' to Izuku after seeing the youth's determination in the face of danger. As Izuku begins his path to become a hero, a nemesis to the "One For All" users named All For One conditions his apprentice Tomura Shigaraki to destroy the current society and its heroes.

@@nooptiui All of them died young against All For One so they never reached that point where the sideeffects of having One For All and their existing quirk would kill them. With each new quirk added to One For All the strain is bigger on the next person with a quirk who inherits it, they will die younger. The 4th user was the only one who "died of old age" and he was 40, only reason All Might and Deku are alive is because they are quirkless, they are "empty vessels" that the quirk could fit in.

As much as I love Deku as a character to inherit ofa, in real world setting, I would side with Nighteye and would think giving it to Deku is a foolish decision. Lemillion will be unrivaled and Deku remains quirkless and probably dies out of depression lol.

Doubtful. Yes, Overhaul's quirk literally cannot win vs Permeation (the quirk Mirio was born with), because it's all slow, easy to dodge physical damage that cannot go through invincibility. But Mirio is so insanely incompetent at using it that Overhaul could probably turn the tables around somehow.

The only reason he lost was because he sacrificed himself to save her. Even without a quirk he was still throwing hands with Overhaul for five minutes

@naeem nelson Sounds like sarcasm, but I'll bite. All Mirio had to do was teach himself how to remain fully permeated except for his soles, eyes, nostrils and ears. If he learned that, he could've walked around above the ground - he could see, hear, smell, etc. Alas, Mirio is one of the biggest retards in the show. Therefore, in 18 years (18!) of his life, he learned absolutely NOTHING. This is canon confirmed - he has a quirk that allows you to travel instantly between any two points on the ground, and yet he lost the Sports Festival the year before Deku arrived at school. Mirio only learned how to use the baby basics of his quirk when Nighteye taught him how to do it. So no. It wasn't hard work. It's like saying you masturbating all day is "hard work" towards getting a girlfriend. Protip Herocuccs: it isn't.

@@metalpower7408 It'a an anime though. Meaning there should've been animation. This was Lemillions huge af moment, and it felt so much less impactful at the end. He loses his quirk, and instead of showing how he fights without his quirk, they show panels of him jumping around. This moment just deserved a little better. Next episode I know we're going to end up seeing where the budget for this fight when. But overall, it was still good. Just not amazing like the manga fanbase expected.

If you didn't understand, the reason why they portray it like that is to show how much time has passed when fighting without his ability. He probably spent a good 20 minutes fighting powerless. You can actually see his uniform gradually gets damaged in each frame. Look at Hacksaw Ridge movie for example. It showed Desmond Doss rescuing but didn't show all of it in real time. They just show enough that time passed by after rescuing a certain amount.

Ye, Hori realized that "oh shit wait a second - if All for One copied this qurik..... then All for One would be literally impossible to beat with One for All!". That's why he retconned its existence, so that it doesn't create a massive gaping plothole in the story. Same reason why he killed Nighteye - so that he doesn't have to use wishing energy to explain why the future he saw never happens.

They even had two seperate teams for this season and the movie, most of the team stayed for this season, most of the very talented (plus guest animators, ect) joined in for the movies production! Hell, Bones even decided to release this season further out than usual just because this season was gonna be heavily action packed, way more than the previous ones. I honestly found this episode to be one of my favorites this season, and to me, I didn't see anything wrong at all and I saw the effect they were going for with the still shots, it made my jaw drop as I kept watching. Afterwards I was actually shocked to see some negative responses to this fight (most from what I saw were from manga readers like me...) So yeah, so what if there is some still shots, at least it isn't as bad as SDS season 3 like you said lol. People need to kinda calm down and realize this is Studio Bones animating this... Not Studio Dean..
