100% the right decision. I was not happy with his captaincy for a while now. He needs to focus on his performance as midfielder. Semedo was a surprise for me, but as you said, most senior player in the back. I think this is a good thing for the whole team.

I want a captain to inspire the players on the pitch and also the youth within the club, someone to aspire to. The face of the club on and off the pitch right now is Cunha and the obvious pick for me for all of these things, makes me worried he is expected to leave sooner rather than later.

Lemina needed to step down his behavior was schoolboy tantrum stuff, very poor and like you said he's not been the same player since he got the armband. Personally I would have liked to see Dawson as captain, I know he had a bad game but I'm sure he'll be back although knowing GON maybe not!

My goodness. The club just cannot make a sound decision whatsoever. A Wolves player showing passion and fervour is frowned upon, and in this case our skipper is stripped of the captaincy? If i was at West Ham the other night, i would have called him over at the end, and shook his hand and praised him. We need more of this not less!!!
