Fast-paced playthrough. Played on the original DOS version with DOSbox. One segment per level.

What's special about Lemmings for me is the aesthetic design. When I was playing it as a kid, I was always fascinated by the environments; they were huge, surreal, and hostile, and the Lemmings seemed so tiny and fragile no matter how simple the level. It was quite an immersive experience; I felt like I was a part of their world, struggling alongside them in the hopes of reaching the land beyond that door.

Psygnosis had a really cool style. They took some textures from other games and build Lemmings levels with it.

Very, very cool. I really enjoyed watching this. I used to watch my dad play Lemmings on DOS as a kid. This is a very different approach! We used to try and save 100% or as close to that as possible. I remember my mom going to bed and telling my dad it was bedtime for me. He said okay one more level... three or four hours later she caught us still playing!

What a classic!! The design, the music (specially the first one), the concept, the challenges... Just unforgettable!

This "Lemmings" was much better than "Oh no! More Lemmings" in several ways; for one thing the "Fun" levels were tame enough without being too tame and there wasn't much difference between the quality of the graphics

Holy smokes, I just watched your StarCraft videos. I decided to search for Lemmings, and I was shocked you're the same KZbin channel I was just watching for a totally different video game.

I found mySelf trying to “scroll over” , before realizing it is a video.

I have to say. When I first saw how you completed Level 7 without losing a lemming, my eyes got teared.

How did you get a copy of lemmings? Online all I can find is demos, Microsoft has a free windows 8+ version which is full of bugs and doesn't work on some levels.

At the 1st 40 sec I just noticed that it isn't efficient. 10% is the requirement and did not detonate the rest to jump to the next lvl. Or is it a save as much possible run too?

Very nice, your run is almost perfect, nice gameplay

I came to find this after playing through several levels of Lemmings for android. It's fun, but I love coming back to the original.

Dang. thankyou for this, I used to play the original lemmings, on no! more lemmings and 2 the tribes alot as a youngster on our old dos computer. The music takes me right back, the ol green bottles hanging on the wall jingle ahh XD actually this kinda sets child me free, some levels were just too hard to figure out. It always kinda disturbed me anytime I had to blow up a lemming to create a path, Young me was like Naah that cant be the answer, surely there is a way to save everybody? And no, not really when u look at the tools they give u, that was the correct answer. Dang, Lemmings can give u some real thought about humanity and existence in general with some very simple situations, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few kind of thing, thats some real talk O___O You cant save Everybody. Some people have to die for others to live. Thats Raw.. Anyway, thanks very much for showing me the rest of the game, i probably would have never got around to it! ^_^ The pixel art on the backgrounds is phenomenal! some creepy visuals for my childhood mind from back then, even though the movement is minimal it can still feel like a creepy, scary large world :O

Odd. When i played on the dos, the music didn't skip the main loop at the special levels when playing from the start, but did when using passowrds to start from the special levels. For example, theme 5 should have played on fun 23 instead of 6. Ah well. Nice to see some love for this classic game.

Very nice run. But am I the only one who wanted the levels to take a bit longer so I could listen to that gloriously nostalgic music bit longer?

Sometimes I still find is hilarious that the developers of this game would later go on to make a gruesome franchise called "Grand Theft Auto"

I wonder how many levels (especially those with trailblazers) you had to play again, thinking "I can do this couple of seconds faster"

Sometimes I feel like I'm too dumb for this game when I see others play it or come up with a strategy. ''How did I miss this''.
