I have made this simple recipe, and it is WONDERFUL. Ca't wait to make it again. I poured my batter into 4 mini loaf pans, so I ended up with 4 to make as gifts, and others to try. I cut down the bake time to 30 minutes. It's one of my new favorite recipes and will make them the rest of my life, they're that great!

Hello John, I made your lemon drizzle cake this afternoon. It was indeed quite easy to make. I did a few adjustments on the sugar content and added a tsp of pure lemon extract to the cake mixture. It turned out fabulously delicious. Thank you so much for this recipe. I will be making this again.

I once mixed up baking powder and baking soda when I was making raisin and oatmeal cookies. They fizzed as they baked! They were OK, maybe they tasted a little salty, and they had a kinda lacey texture, like brandy snaps! My Dad liked them, though! You got a cookie and an indigestion remedy all in one, lol 😂

Made this cake today, can’t wait to try a bit. I find making food from scratch at home you are much more aware of how much “bad stuff” goes in.
