Thanks, Vincenzo. I appreciated you showing the colors available and the "titanium-alloy" version. My experience writing with a long blade nib is similar--a uniform wide line. I don't think cursive writing takes advantage of it very well; better suited to Asian characters and calligraphy.

I recently tried a long blade medium nib with the Hongdian N9 which I will be reviewing sometime soon and that nib not being an architect grind was just great. Stay tuned.

This is a nice pen. I have the Titanium with a fine nib. I like it very much. It's a great writer. The weights are: Capped: 31.5 Uncapped: 20.0 If you'd like to know anything else just let me know.

A piston filling pen, an ink window, all those bands, and a clip with a buttery smooth nib, at $20 dollars sounds like a winner to me. I'd probably choose a simple fine or medium nib. I thought the Long Knife nib was going to be more like an architect rather than a triple broad. A nib grinder can probably do a lot with all that tip material.

The long knife or long blade nibs are essentially architect nibs and personally I just can't get used to writing cursive with these nibs. I am an italic stub writer which is the opposite line variation form architect type nibs. The architect nibs are best when writing block letters. But this is just a personal quirk. So I was glad when the nib on the Lemon M1 was just a thick Broad nib. But for those who expect an architect nib they maybe disappointed.

Agree. I can't really use my architect nibs for cursive. Prior to owing an architect grind, I use to hold my stub or italic grind pens sideways, 90 degrees from normal, to get that architect look. Maybe I'll try holding the the long blade sideways to get a cursive italic. Hehe, best of both worlds. @@fountainpentherapy

Ciao Vincenzo! About the price: long blade and long knife are said to be hand ground' hence the slightly higher price. One is supposed to be an architect and the other is like a zoom architect, AKA Naginata Togi. I have no doubt they chose the two confusing names with an auto translator, and I doubt there's even one English speaker out there that is not confused :) I bought one of each to see if it's a Naginata or an Architect, but even with a dry ink and a page of Tomoe River, they all just act as B-BBB to me. but they sure are fun :)

@@fountainpentherapy It kind-of works on print, it works well with Hebrew (and probably Arabic) but I agree, it's not for Latin script...

Thank you for another excellent review. I understand your concerns about the name of this pen but it certainly wasn't a "lemon" in my opinion. I was impressed. The writing performance was good and I like how they use a piston filling system. I also appreciate the good choice of nib sizes on offer. In terms of price, I would say it represents good value.

My only reservation is that I Ieft the pen without use for a few days and the nib dried up on me. I will have to investigate it further. The ink I believe was a Leonardo ink and that should not happen. Stay tuned.

Your welcome. As to your question I am not sure what exactly you are referring to.
