My husband works part time at our big ShopRite here in Morristown, NJ. We’re both retired, I’m 71, 🙏🕊️. Anyway he’s in the food court , he gets great specials cause he goes in 7-12:30. Love you, 😘 yes I’m feeling melancholy too , maybe it’s cause the fall is coming soon . Xoxoxo ❤❤❤❤

Hi Brenda. Your lemon icebox pie is new to me. My Mom & l make on the stove. Mom made (past tense) lemon pie with lemons Dad picked off their lemon tree in Florida. Many years ago they spent 5 months in Pascoe County in their mobile home. Here in Ontario we grow apples, pears & peaches. ❤🙏🏻Brenda Mt. Ontario, Canada

Florida has them also. I grew up with many varieties of citrus trees. Guava’s, papaya, kumquat, pears, cherries, we had many vegetables before they came to the grocery store. Sunchokes, and many more.

I made a delicious Buttermilk pie 🥧 it was with lemon zest and one whole lemon juice. It was a lot but so good!! 😊 I cheated and used a frozen deep dish crust ❤❤❤
