let me express my assumptions as a producer. Today's music is in decline because when pirates started stealing everything and there was a war on dumping prices from labels... many musicians could not make money through creativity and left... + streaming services appeared where you can listen to tracks for pennies and not buy records like before , cassettes and discs. After this, good musicians were replaced by a generation of mediocrities who write a track every couple of hours and upload it to streaming services and labels... and good music is lost among millions of worthless tracks...
