It's absolutely absurd that this beautiful show is closing. It's time to move past the jukebox musicals and go back to having original theatre again.

Amen!!! For me as an actor, that's something I want to do more of. New shows from the ground up!!! Powerful. Inspiring. Lifting. This show is inspired by Tamara's life but it's ORIGINAL!!! Shame on everyone for trashing it bad.

The comments about how the show was just dismissed really rang true. Not one critic talked about the queerness of the show, I cant help wonder if it was out of fear of getting canceled and/or threatened. Most media is under siege these days. Controlled by people who are concerned about a bottom line, and loosing readership. I wonder if they are purposefully publishing "safe" reviews of what they perceive as incendiary topics?
