Time does fly! My ‘newborn’ is gonna be 8 months in a week!!! A week! She is crawling really fast, trying to stand and already has a tooth! She drinks a lot of breast milk but we also introduced solids because she was fighting fir our food when we would eat around her! So solids twice a day. Some fruits after breast feeding in the morning and veges in the evening 3 hours before her dream feed! You had done great! I took the year off of work to focus on her but the time still feels like it went way too fast!

Ali you don’t spare her, you just dole out the truth to her. While you were spending time trying to adjust and going through your emotions she was growing and developing. Seems like you are just now wanting to embrace her and probably wish she would linger a bit longer so you can really experience her baby stage, but just know that Time waits for no man. Like Ali says everything is not going to be and doesn’t have to be perfect. You will learn that no matter how much planning you do, there will be twists and turns and even detours in real life. Why? Because you are not the only one planning your life. There are a myriad of external sources and most importantly, there is God’s plan for your life. So pray that your will lines up with God’s will and you won’t have so much anxiety about everything because God works all things together for the Good (to them who love Him and are a called to His purpose).

I recently watched a video where you wanted to send her away to grandma in Namibia. Had you done that, you would not have seen anything. How would you even breastfeed her if she were in Namibia? Enjoy your beautiful family.
