I found the original Lemur Voice Insights album in 2013 among a pile of my father's albums, a musician too! Most of them were commissioned albums for his events and at that time I only had an old tape recorder at my disposal. I would put on record after record to see if I could find a rock song because I was always a fan. I would see the Lemur Voice album and I don't know, I never thought it was rock until one day I put it on. I fell in love. Simply listening to Gregor van der loo, Nathan van de wouv, Franck Faber, Marcel coenen and you, Barend Tromp, turned my afternoons into exercising and putting that recorder on with the record every day. The best rock band I've ever heard and to this day I listen to it. I have both albums and it's not someone from Europe, Holland or the USA who is speaking to you, but rather a Mexican Jewish boy living in Mexico who had that gem of an album in his hands.
