I honestly think my favorite thing about Yabusame is that despite being a complete dipshit, he's actually _incredibly_ perceptive. Like, Tsurubami's disguise actually doesn't fool him, it's actually the fact that the two do look alike that throws him off for a moment. But give him a moment and he _knows_ the Tsubakura he's talking to is fake.

FoSY jokes aside, I actually consider "Extra Mind" to be the main theme of Len'en. It's like an extended, far more complex version of the leitmotif you hear on every title screen, which JynX has confirmed is the equivalent to Touhou's "Theme of Eastern Story."

I just realized that Yabusame is a tank, she can take a lot of damage for a stage 3 boss. Kuroji and Hooaka in this game gets their health demolished by "Tsubakura". Fitting cause in BPoHC, Yabusame is the tank of the shrine team. Her skills and upgrades are barrier, HP, and life improvements.

Very late to say, but Fun fact: It's not Eiki's theme, but JynX actually took part of Peaceful Romancer (SC-88Pro) melody as the "Theme of Eastern Story"

I realise that the reason tsurubami bolts imidietely after losing (least on yabu's end) is because she didn't want to be caught in the rule of winning, even if yabu doesn't know it, can't risk it accidentally being activated

Not necessarily. Interestingly enough, this dimension _isn't_ in Mugenri and as such, doesn't have to follow it's rules. In Suzumi's Extra for this game Tsurubami actually called them out on that since Suzumi wanted to get info from Tsurubami for winning (and was also irked Tsurubami didn't use her full power, cause they wanted to learn about that too). But Tsurubami pretty much said "Nah. Sorry. I really don't feel like telling you a damn thing" The biggest thing is the fact that Yabusame in general _WASN'T_ supposed to be here. Tsurubami brought along everyone else and plopped them in a pocket dimension built to improve their new abilities (Kurohebi in a dark cave for stealth, Aoji underwater for his water abilities, etc). Yabusame however just broke through dimensions and was following Tsubakura to get to them and it caought Tsurubami off guard that she broke not only into the entrance to Mugenri, but one of her shortcut dimentions as well

@@korohacker Kurohebi's airspace (that's what they're called) is a dark cave for her stealth Aoji's airspace is underwater to help with her whirlpool ability. btw, she had her ability pre-Mugenri stage 3's airspace was just meant as a shortcut for Tsurubami, but then Yabu busted into it Hoaka's airspace just has color theming, which, considering how Hoaka's ability is reliant on the area's mood or something, makes sense Kuroji's airspace is a very open sky, which helps them learn and get used to their new ability (as the only of the 3 siblings to not have one before mugenri) and Clause's airspace....i have no idea why it would help clause, but maybe Tsurubami designed it to make clause think it was helping even when it wasn't because everyone dislikes clause

@@gypsysprite4824 Clause didn't had 100% unique airspace created for him. instead, the path to the Mugenri was made to be look a lot like sun or a star, which are known for their ability to bend space due to their mass and gravitational power, which is somewhat close to the Clause's new ability. He even said it himself - he wanted to use the "power of this star" to become even more powerfull.

Yup. Essentially all of Tsubakura's battles take place shortly before Yabusame's with Yabu fighting the same bosses Tsuba just did tailing shortly behind her.

Which is _also_ why you have to clear Extra as Yabusame before you can play Tsubakura. Tsuba's story requires that you know certain plot points that are slowly fed to you from Yabu's perspective of the game.

JynX stated in the interview that most characters HAVE certain biological sex, and he know which characters are male or female, but decided not to state it outright in the games. He also said that it doesn't matter anyway, and anybody can view the characters as they see fit. Basically, he said something like "Yeah, they have certain genders, but i won't tell you which they are. So you can headcannon WHATEVER you want and be happy, i won't stop you". Sooooo.... This series is almost canonically a "choose your preference" kind of zone, so please - *do not* guilt-trip others just because they do not say the same pronounce as the games. Fanbase got used to this long ago, many people even have their own "what their gender is?" charts for every character in the game. And that's fine.
