The reason fans think they are a couple is their behavior away from Outlander not because they play Jamie and Claire. The characters have nothing to do with it, its interviews and their behavior on the red carpet,their behavior at CC and when they did conventions. They behave like no other co-stars that I have seen promoting a show that is a definiate. Great video as well.

Sam loved Cait, I am certain of it. It didn't last and I think that it hurt him. Which, of course, is perfectly fine and nobody's business. Relationships fail for many reasons. Public opinion means NOTHING. They are masters of their craft and deserve our full respect for bringing the books to life, through long rainy nights, covid and pregnancy. Fans should respect that actors have their own lives and be able to differentiate fact from fiction.
