謝謝你們介紹台灣之美。臺灣的山景超棒~ 經常在山上遇見外國朋友在爬山。我喜歡紀錄登山時的美景並上傳到KZbin 讓更多人看見。 Thank you for introducing Taiwan. When I was hiking in the mountains, I usually take video records for sharing magnificent scenery. And upload it to my KZbin channel.
Great video! I trimmed it to 20 seconds (0'50"~1'10") to share with my foreign friends. Thanks for showcasing Taiwan's trails - I think many Taiwanese are missing out on this!

Great video. Totally agree that Taiwan needs to promote itself abroad a lot more besides politics and microchips.

Thanks for sharing Taiwan , not only Night Market, Night club, 101 Floor building but also many beautiful montains for hiking with the most safely enviroment. Love you guys! Please take care yourself while you play around our Taiwan....
I saw you were hiking YangMingShan in this episode. It’s also one of my favorite routes. However, I notice a dangerous act by the senior hikers (aged over 50, 60 or more). They are early birds to get up and hike the QiXing Mountain even before the sunrise in the winter time. They take the bus to the YangMinShan terminal stop. Then, they walk the route for cars to MiaoPu, one of the 3 entry points of QiXing Mountain. It’s very dangerous to walk on the car route and not good for health to inhale the polluted air generated by the vehicles. In fact, there is a specific route for hikers starting from the bus station of YangMingShan. It’s parallel to the car route and it’s like the hiking trail as the scenes in your video, safe and surrounded by the fresh air. This route for hikers connects all 3 entry points of QiXing Mountain as a circle. The government never promotes safe hiking. The local senior hikers just take shortcut, but they forget why they hike the peak of QiXing Moutain Mountain. It’s mainly for the sake of their health. So why risk their lives and health to take the shortcut?

Taiwan's hiking is magical because of how diverse and dense it is. That coupled with the well developed public transportation system makes it easy to access a lot of the trails. A lot more could be done to improve the marketing of Taiwan as a hiking destination. I think the national effort to improve English literacy will help improve the accessibility of the country as a whole, but improving awareness of Taiwan as an amazing country to hike and developing a connected trail system like the Appalachian Trail or the Pacific Coast Trail can increase visibility and tourism. Beyond just the tourist dollars that this can bring to Taiwan, I think the government should see it as a way to gain "soft" support (people's hearts) by improving Western awareness of Taiwan not just as a provider of semi-conductors, but exposing it to more people as a destination. It is like you said: Taiwan has so many great qualities for foreign visitors. Ease of access, convenience, pretty good public transport system, great variety of activities within a very dense area (reducing the cost and time of transit), very safe, very friendly and helpful people. Cheers to you guys for taking on this effort and I hope more Taiwan Vloggers, influencers, and the government will work towards this goal!
