Yo Wade - dig the reviews and loved to see this, especially knowing you got to rally with the Power of Water crew - Stand up chaps! I've got to use a variety of Lendal paddles over the years and had an opportunity to try a team member's storm earlier this summer. Agree on some of your observations and marveled on how light the storm is and how it plays with the water. Curious to know if you had any thoughts on the blade-size vs length of paddle... e.g. (I think the size of the blade is 650 sq cm and is the largest they currently offer) I felt I needed to run a little longer (like a 207 / 208 cm vs the 205 I typically rally with) to maximize performance with the catch and propulsion. Given the aforementioned weight of that paddle I am interested if EJ uses a heavier layup for his white water antics. I reckon the Lendal NA crew has to be cooking up a WW blade sooner than later and look forward to your review on that, when it emerges. Last, my curiosity is piqued on your potential comparison of this paddle, with its catch, pull and maneuverability in the water compared to the G'Power Twister - I know these are completely different tools - but for the folks who are into the tall water play/ rock gardening in the sea kayaks/ make party with white-water adventuring - if that Twister might offer that jack of all trades opportunity? Mahalos for what you bring to the paddling community ~

Yeah the power of water crew were awesome! And there’s no comparison to the Gpower it’s in a class of it’s own power and feel is way better on gpower. And I spoke with the rep and ask that question apparently EJ broke a couple already just playboating. It’s definitely not a WW paddle outside just playing. And i really liked the blade size on that length it was fine.

I wish I could afford the Storm. I picked up an old used Lendal Kinetik made in Scotland a while back. It has a similar blade shape as the Storm, but it's fiberglass with reinforced nylon blades, and it has become my absolute favorite paddle for ocean and touring kayaking. The Trak pilot team and color scheme on the paddle in your video has to do with Trak kayaks, probably for their demo team to pair with Trak kayaks.

I get it they are not cheap when compared to others buts it by far the best from what I have used…

@@WadeHarrison Most things that are worthwhile aren't usually cheap. You get what you pay for, and Lendal is known for making the best touring paddles there are.

@@waynefatguyinakayak7408 so true and thanks for clearing up what that pilot team trak logos were it did belong to the guy at Lendal so makes sense

Do you have any thoughts on this paddle vs. a Lettmann Pro Sea or Pro Tour LCS 70? I'm looking for something to suit my Dagger Stratos and like the one piece design of the Lettmann, but I also like that the Lendal is made in the US and looks similar enough to push me in that direction. Price seems pretty competitive between the two. I also like that the Lettmann can adjust 10cm vs. only 5 on the Lendal. I wasn't sure if you might have any insight as to which one might be higher quality/durability if there's any significant difference there.

I never used any of lettmans touring paddles only the whitewater and they are the best in the world by far so I can't compare these lendal are perfect for touring not at all for whitewater
