Well I don‘t know about the rules in America, but in Germany you‘re not allowed to post pictures of another person without their permission. So Heidi maybe does not only ask her to not embarrass her but also because it would be illegal to not ask. That does not mean, parents in Germany always ask their kids. I’ve had some bad experience with my dad about that. But he stopped after I told him a couple of times that it’s illegal and that I don’t feel comfortable with the pictures online.

Yes her mom is German but she grew up in the usa and the rest of her family always spoke English and German so she learnt both languages but English of course more
