Even the good aa ships aren't that good now my Massachusetts cant stop t6 cvs not that they do much damage but having them constantly buzzing around takes the fun out of the game I to have stopped playing and have taken up guitar again

@@dannyfisher5086 I've been playing the Perth (maybe 5-6 games max versus my 10-12 games/day) and other mid-tier ships with smoke or good AA. As long as the CV leaves me alone I have fun. However, when you survive most of the battle and it you and your one CV versus two enemy CVs hiding behind an island across the map and you still need to cap, you're dead as soon as they see you capping. It's a nice slap in the face "reward" for playing the objective while two derpy, no skill, camping CVs throw everything they have at you.

@@MrJohnnyb74 I have not try the Perth since the rework may have to give it a try ,objective play is a joke now for the reasons you mentioned my main gripe with cvs is they are not fun to play against there is no real counter play just rng roll of the dice if they hurt you or not and I hate that they can just keep throwing wave after wave at you with very little down time . The sims is still fun it trolls cvs with its aa but only so many times you can play the same ship without getting bored

There is holding damage con, then there is never using it. If you have 5 with 10 min left I think it’s fine to use it when not detected (even a single fire)

Well Notser, if you do get the Vladivostok, you wont like it. It has terribly inconsistent guns. They hit like a truck when citadeling a target, but too many overpens. It has terrible dispersion and as stated, the shells just go through everything like butter, including citadels, so I would advise to shoot just below the waterline on broadside cruisers, and under the barbettes on broadside battleships. (This is my experience from my Vladivostok which I have over 200k xp grinded in.)

I've had bad luck with containers too. Just the pyotr veliky.. I got pretty far up with UK and French BBs on their containers (QE and Richelieu)

Notser they’re not grouping up to defend from the cv. A lot of players do this in hopes that enemies will shoot at different ships in the group, keeping any from getting focused since a lot of players aren’t great at mitigating damage

Being thrown at t8 match with t6 CV Ranger doesn't mean she'll be able to kill even a stupid pepsi on 600hp, she still has some aa and dfaa as well, and remember American rockets are not that accurate as Japanese ones so if anything could make its way to pepsi, there's still chance he'll miss her and nothing happens. She could try and slingshot it but most if not 99% of CV players don't know how to proper slingshot so most likely missed there. But ye overall, she could at least try; also, at 10:10 You had broadside La Galissoniere which i know later turned on You but You decided to shoot broadside German Steel Product, meybe good meybe not, I'd choose that cruiser because with Your stupidly big guns I'm sure You could overmatch and delete her; 14:02 I don't know how this Ryujou missed the drop also ;) ; 14:58 complains about fighter, haven't used it a single time ;p --- don't be mad at me for such long comment (sorry no potato) take it as friendly critique :3

The CVs have reinforced the habit of lemming train and passive play. At the start of a match I've gotten in the habit of reminding people we can play like we used to if there isn't a CV. People are so afraid to get caught out alone that it seems like it's become habit to clump up even when there isn't a CV in the match.

I´ve only got the Ter 5 and 6 so far out of those containers. Not ever were that unlucky to not even getting the Tier 7!! ^^ The Tier 5 and 6 i´ve actually got from the non-premium Containers. Just saying the RU BBs don’t meet the “advertised” tankyness. Moreover, for the giving meta of the current game, don’t think even T10 RU BB would be any good. Not mention giving the fact they are going to release a “better” version of T10 RU premium BB. Think of what Alsace became before J.B. and Bourgogne released. Sincerely hoping I’m wrong and very welcome WG could proof that. ;(

Given I watch several WoWS video contributors, including Flambass and Flamu plus the occasional Jimgles vid, it's interesting to see how the quality of play appears to be getting worse. Recently watched a Yamato steam across the map broadside to everything; died, of course. Tier 7 battles where nearly all the BBs spam HE the whole time even when the target is presenting full broadside. Plus a general unwillingness to be shot at or close the range, even in ships that are demonstrably largely useless at range (watching a New Mexico staying as far away as possible firing HE all the time comes to mind). Don't you ever get tired of having people with so few clues about how to play, even at top tiers? Doesn't it frustrate you? Or do you accept that's almost a necessary condition to having superior stats and monster games? Genuinely curious.
