No such thing as a best Lennox. There is, however most leaking Evaporator coil which is a Lennox.

Lennox XC25 installed May 2017. June of 2018 the main circuit board had to be replaced: 5 days to get the replacement and install. July of 2020 the evaporator coil began leaking: 6 days for part and replacement. May 2022 and you guessed it: appears evaporator coil is leaking again. I can’t recommend strongly enough to avoid Lennox at all costs! This is supposed to be their top of the line a/c and it is complete garbage!

Top of the line means it is most efficient in terms of higher SEER rating and 2-speed compressors (or continuously variable compressors). The cheapest single speed compressors with SEER rating below 18 are the most reliable, by a long shot.

Lennox has been a problem for us, on my third coil. Ten-year warranty but still have to pay for labor ($1,100-$1,750). Very dissatisfied

If you had to pay labor cost of $1,100 EACH time you replaced the coil, then by the second time you might have put that money into a new unit.

I have had 2 new Lennox Elite units for 3 1/2 years now and every year there has been a problem. Blower motor failure, heat strip, and now 2 reversing valves fails and leaks all coolant. Both units failed in the same week. There seems to be a quality control issue here in my opinion. Parts are covered but repair cost are high and you should not have to repair top tier units every year. Very dissatisfied with Lennox.

I wish I'd seen more the reviews that said this! This is my experience with both a heat pump and gas (we have 2 units in the house) they are terrible! We have their signature top quality and they are only a headache. I wish I'd seen their lawsuit before I started having problems. I put the system in in 2016 and have already replaced the coil, the blower motor, thermostat and now I'm using heaters in rooms even though it's "fixed" I'm so frustrated!

Why else would your buyer pull Lennex from FL this past week - right when our amazing governor was speaking at Republican Debate?! Give us back our vendor and stop disenfranchising your loyal faithful customers in Florida!!! If you don’t we know it’s ALL political!!!!”
