Good tip. I never thought to move the wires to the next pin for the fan motors. Your very detailed in your work and explanations. 👍

I loved those L Series. So easy to work on.

Thanks for the reminder. It’s been a while sense I worked on an Lseries. Those are sweet units.

Man the L series are some of my favorites to work on. Haven't' worked on one for a few years, but I did a lot of them about 5-10 years ago.

Yeah they are my favorite.

Couple of quick questions if you don't mind first do you move the wires on the relays to circumvent the head pressure controls? I guess what I'm really asking is in test mode of both circuits would the head pressure switches still keep the stage 2 fan from running?
@HVACRVIDEOS4 жыл бұрын
Yes the fans are controlled by the head pressure fan cycling switches

The L series units are the most simplest systems in the industry to work on and to service. I’m an ex Lennox employee and went back into the field but the L series Energence systems are even better and easier with the Prodigy boards. You run through the board to do your diagnostics and alarm code checks. That board has never failed me in troubleshooting an issue. Never have had to bust out gauges or my amp probes. Not ever.

So you take whatever dead motor you think and attached it to a relay you know is working?

Thanks, that really helps .

I like that. I’m not all too familiar with the older Lennox boards. I know you can put it in test mode just have to read up on it.

To put the older board in test mode you flip the shift switch and the unit test switch. Than you can test cooling or heating

I have a code 76 that won't go away. It's humidity sensor. It's my first time messing with these lennox. I'm a newbie. Where would the sensor be located at?

Just make sure you erase the old codes so it's easier next time you hit recall
