Tyson was a teenage prodigy who very likely would have been finished by 25 -27 even without going to jail because he peaked EARLY. A lot of that had to do with the fact that Tyson relied a lot on speed, quickness, and reflexes for his style to be effective. He was never built for the long haul. In his latter years, he showed some flashes here and there. But he had a young man’s style and thus he fizzled out which is why his prime was so short.

I think because Lennox fought like it was a game of chess. So tactically he would nullify their strengths and break them down with his arsenal of shots, the jab being one of the best shot and usually knock them out with the right. So he didn't get the credit because he wasn't explosive like say Mike Tyson I make him top 3 and the best of his era and that includes Tyson.

Given that you are aware of the Tyson fight you failed to say that Botha was winning the fight with Tyson by a large margin until Tyson landed his hail Mary right hand in round 5. Briggs was a major contender at the time and a draw with him was nothing to be ashamed of. Lewis was fighting often during this time and cleaning out the division. Before you post a stupid uneducated comment do some research or perhaps you're being disingenuous because you want to diminish Lewis' accomplishments?
