He was messing about with a dangerous puncher. He certainly didn’t mess about in the rematch, where he delivered the best and most important ‘one-two’ of his career. When Lennox was on form he is capable of beating just about any heavyweight from history. Only 2 defeats by ‘lucky’ shots and both avenged, means that he holds a win over every man he ever faced. You stand corrected. Lewis was 37 years old when he fought Vitali. Vitali Klitschko was 32 years old during their fight. Coward Lewis obviously retired instead of a rematch due to fear of losing it. Emmanuel Stewart admitted in the latter interviews that Lewis has no chance of winning against Vitali if he pursued a rematch. Vitali retired at 42 years old with definitive and undisputed victories.

@the great bitch he didnt get tko..he had cuts due to which the ref didnt allow him to continue...he was winning on the score card anyway..lennox knew that he cant repeat this same cut in the rematch thus he ran away..but it was a smart decision for him though
