hey if you use zip tie to the rod and then zip tie the zip tie now ur electrical wire cant rub against the rod its just rubbing against the zip tie. learned it from another tech. prevents a rub out (-: love ur videos always entertaining 😁

I use that method too and it's easy , cheap and effective!

I mount the fan collar on shaft and then set blade on and tighten down.
