@@dwade6322 They were solid rockers while playing. In between songs they had a comedic rapport that was playing off their roles on Laverne and Shirley but seemed mostly just ad lib and having fun.

I'll do a little name-dropping here: My Mom was friends with David's cousin, Geraldine Wilner. She knew I was a huge fan, so invited my mom and I over for a BBQ that David & family would also be attending in the Bixby Knolls area of Long Beach. I was 16 (1979). Very nice guy. Shortly after, he put me on his guest list at Paramount Studios, and I got to go watch countless tapings of "Laverne & Shirley", "Happy Days" and "Mork & Mindy". Those were good times.

@@dwade6322 Well it was a long time ago, but I remember the Mork & Mindy tapings being the most fun. Because I had good seats, I was close to the set. I remember Jonathan Winters coming over and talking to me & my buddy about Baseball. Also remember once where Robin Williams came out in a bath towel (scene called for it) and behind the couch, he dropped his towel in front of Pam Dawber (Mindy)...on purpose! By PD's reaction, he had nothing on under that towel. Some of those M&M tapings took 2-3 hours because of his improvising and shenanigans.

Garry, Penny, Today David Lander Sqiggy , also Mr C Tom Bosley and Joanie Erin Moran. And Robin Williams Mork started on happy days. All gone now. I sure am feeling older. Very sad but thankful for all the laughter they gave so many in better times. At least in my opinion they were better time's.

I told my son about this song. I was convinced he'd love it. (I'm 47, he's 23. We're very close.) He wasn't enthusiastic to hear it. I played it for him last year. He loved it so much, we had to listen to it every night for months. Sweet, hysterical agony!!!!
