Remember watching this film on the BBC back in January 1987 and have never seen it repeated. Searched for it on dvd for years but found out that it has never released on dvd due to the cost of music rights to the soundtrack. With so many great songs no surprise. Always liked "road movies" and this is certainly one of the best British ones with a great script. Lenny Henry at his best no question.

Fabulous memories, I was an airman in the RAF and got to be an extra on this at. RAF Honington and then we went to Duxford for 2 days filming, great times
