I was picked from the audience to sit on the stool at Portsmouth Guildhall back in 1988 I think. They wheeled on a double bed behind me where we eventually ended up on. After the sketch he went off and came back with a huge bunch of flowers for me. Was very funny and great experience. Lovely man.

There has been a bit of stick for Lenny recently. It's a shame. Life has been pretty good for him and I wish he would distance himself from his remarks. However in his day he was an outstanding comedian and hugely talented. I watch him perform on stage too in an acting role and he was just superb.
