Great mix of musicians. Gary Clark Jr is a freak. Just saw him live and Chicago and he ripped that guitar apart. Gary is THE BEST at playing crazy riffs while singing. He's just phenomenal live. If you ever get a chance YOU BETTER GO!

Garys vibrato is too good. Such a smooth guitarist and vocalist. Just sounds amazing on this tune, but then again he always does. For those who haven't seen him live yet, its a must! I saw the Rolling Stones in London last year, and Gary in Chicago this year, and they were about even as far as shows. The dude is a maniac on that guitar.

I have watched quite a bit of GCJ. And props to him for being able to play in front of crowds and hold it together... but his playing is pretty basic. 90% of the time in the key of E at the 12th fret in first position of the pentatonic scale. props to him though, not many can pull off a five minute solo in one position with five to seven notes.

But that's the point!!! He's not vomiting all over everything all the time like certain current blooooze heroes! He's saying something, respecting the tradition, holding the tension and letting it loose when it's the moment to do so! If you don't get that, then that's fine!

Music isn't about farting out as many different notes as fast as you can.. If anything it's the opposites, which Gary and others like Gilmore shows to be true. Otherwise shredders would be music gods, and blues solos would be nothing, but if anything the opposite is true,
