Great marketing plan by Glock. Start people out with a 42. Bump them up to a 43. Then come out with the 43X. And now the 43X MOS. I wonder how many people upgraded by buying all four. Since I'm a late adaptor to 9mm, I started out with the 43X MOS.

I recently bought my first Glock. The guy at the local gun shop, recommended the Glock 43 x , so that's what I bought. Now I'm thinking about adding a red dot or a Lazer because as I get older, I'm having more trouble bringing the sights into focus. I wish now I had looked around and purchased a firearm that at least had rails .I don't really like the idea of having the gun cut on , so I guess I can try to sell it or trade it. Live and learn!

They make Glock 43x with the mos rails and the cutout for optics on them now :). I just sold my old one today, and just got a 43X MOS. It’s great! After tax here in Tennessee, it was 549$. Hell I paid 611$ getting the original 43x, so I’m not complaining!

Did you find sites Mario? I’m getting my 43x non-mos slide milled too for the 507K-X2 and want to have my sites co-witness 1/3. I’ve heard the stock sites do this when you have it milled? Is that true?

@@Gonzales_bobby no, their mill work is not deep, I like ir because I was able to use the long screew both sides to fix the 507k with no problems to the internals but the Co is not deep enough, the MOS version is actually more deep using a plate. The sigths I'm using are the night fision costa ludus for glock 17/19 which are high enough to get a 1/4 Co witness an I love them. Their fast return got me in the deal, not a long wait, there are cheaper options but you got to wait longer.

Suarez offers their factory slide cuts with 1/4 cowitness with factory irons. You guys could have gone lower with the mill. Doug Presson, battlewerx etc can all do a heater job and get the dot LOWER than this and DPcustom has a faster turnaround time. More options too. Sorry Lenny.....

The G43 and G43X slides aren't exactly the same. Same size, but the G43X slide has the front end beveling for easier reholstering and front serrations, while the G43 slide has neither.

Loved Lenny's Glock--it demonstrates how you can spend every last dollar you have to take a pretty decent gun and keep making it even more decent, and more decent, and more decent. Mos definitely decided before hand if an optic is in your firearms future before hand to save some money . Almost all MOS versions will include a plate to cover up the milling which is something to consider

The 43x has been my edc for well over 2 years now with about 3k rounds down range! Going to need that spare parts kit but y'all don't have any for the 43x. I use a recovery tactical rail with a olight & a custom holster. I really need to send my slide to get milled.

You can do this yourself. With a dremel. Remove the rear nubs on the original footprint. Remove half the nubs on the front of the original footprint. It takes 15 mins. Flush fit and you will actually be able to get a 1/3 co-witness. That’s how mine is setup. Why remove the front nubs? They’re exactly where the should be for the holosun. Just a little tall.

If you have a 43x MOS ( getting one soon ), and you want to get the Holosun 507K light, once you install the light, is kind of permanent? I know, dumb question, but I don't know. This pistol would be my only gun, both home defense ( need the light for that ) and sometimes conceal carry during the daylight where I dont want the light on it.

@@keebz75 they don’t call them gens like that The Glock 43 is an early (one of the first) Gen 5 Glocks The Glock 19x and Glock 45 are gen 5 Glocks There are no Gen 4 of these models They don’t start gen over with a new model So there’s no gen 1 43 or 43x When they release something like a lm MOS model They simply call it g43x mos if there’s a gen 6 of Glock , then they will release updates and decide which models they bring into that gen Not all past Glock models have been manufactured in a gen 5 There are several models that are still gen 4 There are some Glock models that were never manufactured past gen 3

You should set up a “build-a-bear” equivalent. Customer come in, picks from various parts and pieces for their preferences and at the end of the line they get a fire arm they can test at your facility and take home or gets shipped to them. I will e the first in line and I’m not a glock fan

MOS sits the optic on top of your slide, milling slides sets the optic IN your slide. It is therefore lower, slightly easier to conceal, lighter, and easier to find your aim upon draw. It's all slight differences tho

Currently, yes. But we have machines dedicated to this particular cut to support the roll-out and sale. If you came on a day that the machines were not set up for the 43X cut, then you might have to leave it with us for a day or two.

@@captainamer71 The Shield Arms magazines for the G43x/G48 are discontinued today (as several credible people have said). I guess I shouldn't say it as a fact. I personally haven't heard it from the source directly... but several credible gun channels on youtube have stated that they are discontinued... and they're not the kind of people to repeat rumors/lies, but verify before they say things on the record. (part of what makes them credible).
