This is a great idea! I love reading Lenormand with my Ciro Marchetti deck, so I just made a deck with the # and the name out of blank tarot sized cards. I can even shuffle it and use it to produce random houses for a smaller reading. Thank you!

This was so helpful! I recently purchased the Celtic Lenormand after your recommendation (and I love them!!!) I went ahead and made a board to show the houses (just using poster board) and wouldn't you know I ended up with an extra card LOL. I'd left 2 Rider cards in the deck! I'd always felt intimidated to try the Grand Tableau - thanks to your great instructions, I'm really enjoying this :D

I can't seem to find a good list of what decks come in mini. I have the under the roses deck and would like a mini to do the GT. My google search is not coming up with good results. Any suggestions on how to find and select a mini deck?

Hello, thank you for your video, I am French, there is a big difference between the GRAND TABLEAU with 4 rows of 9 cards and the GRAND TABLEAU with 4 rows of 8 cards + 4 cards at the bottom. Because,: ►11:05 In the GRAND TABLEAU [ 9x4] if THE LADY [ 29] goes out for example in the BOUQUET HOUSE [9] she is at the END OF THE FIRST ROW = she has a lot of cards in her PAST and there is NO CARD. in the future [on the RIGHT when looking at the grand tableau] ► 27:51 But in the GRAND TABLEAU [8x4 +4] the LADY appears at the beginning of the SECOND RAW = and there, she has NO CARD in her PAST and all the cards in her FUTURE ► *I have tried both positions and I find that the GRAND TABLEAU [ 9x4 ] corresponds better to the TRUTH of the story* What do you think?

Great video Kelly, it looks so easy when you do it, lol! You mentioned that when you do a GT for someone you sometimes let it sit and come back to it before you write it up, do you ever do this spread while the client is in front of you?

Yes I do GTs with people in person, in a way they are easier than trying to write them up logically and so that they can be followed with lots of images. Of course then I don't let them sit around a marinate lol -Kelly

Lori Edwards I will be honest with you and say I haven't had that happen in person, BUT, I have done more Lenormand online than I have in person. Because there is so much to look into we can usually lock into a relevant path and it all starts to come together. I have had a couple readings not seem to connect before but with some conversation and looking at different angles we've generally been able to key in on a commonality and then it pulls together. In a general sense I don't think that Lenormand is for everyone, some people love it, some people really just go "huh." My niece really connects to the voice in a big way, my daughter prefers tarot even though she's had very spot on Lenormand readings so that is a possibility if they are new to Lenormand readings.

I guess its all about practice if you really want to do any divination and everyone resonates with different ones

Lori Edwards It's definitely about practice, it is also being comfortable with the cards, and having a good rapport or connection between the reader/sitter, as well as some people getting Lenormand readings out of curiosity but expecting tarot and just not liking the voice of Lenormand perhaps. There are so many variables when a reading doesn't resonate that all you can do is the best that you can and if it doesn't work, being willing to step away and say maybe this isn't for you, or I'm not the best reader for you, or let's try another day. Sometimes there IS something there and they simply aren't in the position to hear it, and sometimes we just miss the boat, we are only human :) ~Kelly
