Color me impressed. Again, I feel like they have come a long way. I like me a good transformer! It gives me Xiaomi tablet vibes! Thanks so much for the video.

Dang, $400 for this device seems like a pretty good deal if it feels as premium as it looks. Thanks for the quick review!

This device just became available for sale in the UK in the last couple of days. I particularly appreciate the review covering sturdiness of the kickstand configuration and keyboard attachment magnets as other videos hadn't really touched on these aspects. I think it will be perfect for my use case travelling extensively over the next year.

I'm happy my review was able to provide some useful info to you. This will become my traveling device as well, particularly once January comes around with all the 2025 tech events I plan on attending.

Nice review. Am a big fan of the Duet. I like the redesigned kickstand and the two USB C ports. And you can't beat that price.

The price is very nice and I love the design of the kickstand. Truly a little productivity pony (not horse, because it's little, lol)

I have the duet 5, i wonder will the duet 5 have a refresh? This tablet seems nice too.

I hope so. Larger tablets are highly desirable. I used to have the 5 as well.

I’ve never used CromeOS. I remember the days when it was basically a browsers and nothing could really be done offline. It’s come a long ways and nice to see an option that isn’t super expensive and has everything you would need; keyboard and stylus included. I’m curious if we will see some higher end Chromebooks with Snapdragon 8 Elite. I would love something that is a part of the Android ecosystem but doesn’t run Windows or Android. I know that syncing things and the continuity between ChromeOS and Android is there and Google could easily make it work. My guess would be that they’d put a Tensor chip in their ChromeOS tablets and laptops though. I know there is Desktop Mode, but Google’s own version is lacking and I would love for them to explore the integration with ChromeOS by either making a tablet or laptop with it or by allowing us to boot into ChromeOS on a Pixel Tablet. Great video!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I agree with the potential of a higher end Chromebook. I have another one I'm reviewing from Samsung that is higher end but with an Intel chip. Hopefully as ChromeOS and Android become more tightly integrated we begin to see more powerful Chromebook tablets.

I'm just curious if we can see some benchmark scores between the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 and Kompanio 838. I know benchmark scores aren't everything, but it can give some idea of how fast the new chipset is.
@JoJotheTechieАй бұрын
Unfortunately I currently do not have a device with either of those chips. This was a review unit and it's been returned already :(

Anyone know what Kind of usbc- ports it has??
@anthonycruciani939Ай бұрын
I read its USB type C ports are limited to 5Gbps so I guess that makes them 3.2 gen 1. Wish they'd at least made it gen 2 to improve throughout to 10Gbps but still looks pretty nice.

Has anyone played the game "Wild Rift" on the device with 8G RAM?

This one is tempting. _But_ once again, I hope Lenovo repurposes the 12.6" 16x10 400 nit screen from their high end Android line on a future detachable ChromeOS tablet.
@malcontent_12 ай бұрын
It's odd that Lenovo has ~5 different sized Android tablets (8" thru 12.6"/all 16x10) but only two sizes of ChromeOS tablets (10.95"/16x10 & 13.3"/16x9).
@JoJotheTechie2 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching. Other brands have nicer higher end Chromebooks with better screens. Lenovo has pretty much focused on the mid-range and lower cost options.

@@JoJotheTechie yes, I'm fully aware. I've been using Chromebooks everyday since the Asus Flip C302, in early 2017. I now use an Acer Chromebook Plus Spin 714. I was mentioning the _opportunity_ Lenovo has to _reuse_ LCDs they already use in their Android tablets for a larger "Duet" ChromeOS tablet, which _isn't_ 16x9.
