I know this is a COMPLETE shot in the dark, but I figured I'd see if you could help! After about 7 years, I still have this Laptop, but it's the Lenovo Flex 2-15D which looks like the same Laptop in your video. I haven't been able to use my Laptop for about 2-3 years. When I bought it, unfortunately after about 6 months of owning it, it started not working right. After communicating with Lenovo, come to find out the Motherboard was the issue and needed to be replaced which I was NOT happy about! So I of course mailed it out to have them fix it. Nonetheless, I loved the Laptop and had no issues with it from that point forward. My grandmother's Lenovo Desktop started having issues which originated after doing Windows 10 Updates. After a complete nightmare of trying to fix her issue, they asked to connect my Laptop to her Desktop in order to fix the situation. One of the issues that was going on with my grandmother's Desktop was her screen would flicker and completely turn black. (All of the typical issues that other Windows user's were experiencing.) The odd part was after I had connected my Laptop to her Desktop, all of a sudden, I'd be using my Laptop and now MY screen would start to flicker!!!, then it would stop and go away. Over a short period of time, it progressively got worse and went from flickering to the whole entire screen slowly just starting to fade away! Considering that it's a Flex screen, I'd bend it backwards slowly and/or forwards and sometimes all of a sudden the whole screen would come back perfectly and I'd be able to use the computer!! Other times, it just wouldn't cooperate and I'd have to shut it off. It eventually got to the point where you go to Power on the Laptop, and the screen's completely faded white, gray or sometimes black from the moment it turns on. "Occasionally" you might see the Lenovo Logo and then the Sign-in page, but it'll just start to slowly fade away, so I can't even Login to the computer. It frustrates me because I never had this issue until I helped my grandmother per Microsoft's suggestion and of course when I told them the problem I'm having they wouldn't help me. I haven't thrown away the Laptop yet. There's a part of me that's hoping one day I'll turn it on and the screen will magically decide to work or that maybe I can fix it. I came across your video, and after you took apart the Laptop I saw there was that one wire for the LCD I believe you said and I was just wondering if you think my issue is anything that can possibly be fixed by taking this Laptop apart? It's not like I can turn it on and try different troubleshooting options by typing in different codes and all that stuff because I need to have use of the screen for that. The Laptop turns on and it charges no problem, the screen just acts wonky! Rather than throw it away, I'd rather try all my available options that don't cost an arm and a leg and if nothing works, then at least I tried! If you have any suggestions at all I'd REALLY appreciate it!!

You can use an external monitor or likely have to replace the screen.

@@ItsBinhRepaired you just said "the hard drive if you want to upgrade it or change it". not what kind of hard drive or interface. it can be also n 2.5" ssd or hdd. or its a cage and inside that, there's a m.2 pcie or msata. its also possible to buy a 2.5" cage with n msata connector and install a msata drive with 2242 or 2280....

I mean, if you can somehow plug an nvme SSD to the SATA port, I guess you can use one? I don't think an adapter like that exists, but anything is possible. The obvious answer is, there's a 2.5" SATA port, so whatever you can connect there should work.

Remove the 4 screws holding it in place and to unplug it, you grab the battery connector by the cable as close to the connector as you can and wiggle it while pulling gently, it'll eventually come out. Don't pull hard. The wiggling will get it out.
