thanks man, and to everyone with a Flex 5, heres a word or caution: There's LOTS of strong adhesive behind the screen so your gonna need a heat gun or hair dryer, and take your time!

So do I need to apply adhesive to reattach the LCD screen to the back cover? I reassembled my flex 4 1470 after swapping a bad display cable and noticed the screen isn't attached to the back cover. It just flops forward when I have my laptop lid half closed.

Please explain how you disconnected the digitizer? I see you use a guitar pick but are you flipping it up or pushing as no matter what I do it wont disconnect? Thanks!

The battery connector. Whenever you are messing with internals in a laptop especially since there isn't really a battery cut off switch like on desktops, you must disconnect the battery to avoid any power issues.
