You can add 16gb in the additional slot. 32 GB can be supported but it will be overkill for it. If the existing one is not soldered you can do 8 plus 8gb. Get a crucial or samsung for showered performance

I have a doubt, the manuals are a bit confusing, in one the limitation of the M.2 to 250GB did not appear and in another Lenovo manual it does.... I have an Ideadpad 330-15ICH i7-8750H with 8GB of RAM and I was thinking of replacing the HDD with a SATA SSD (500 GB) and putting a 1TB one in the M.2.... but I don't dare buy the 1TB M.2 because the Lenovo manual that I found indicates that the maximum capacity of this slot is 250GB..... Has anyone tried it and could help me????? I would really, really appreciate it, with all my heart

Yes it will be safe as you copy hdd to SSD only. So data in hdd remains. After cloning it's up to you which data to keep and which to delete from your old hdd

You can insert the 2.5inch normal SSD in by replacing the original 5 inch hdd. Rest there is m.2 slot where you can plug m.2 ssd

This was specifically for the particular Lenovo model. If you can return it and get it replaced with sata SSD then it's good. Otherwise just buy an m.2 SSD enclosure and use it a super fast external hardisk drive

it can come in few cases but most of the laptops all SATA ports are of same speed. so it doesnt matter where you install the SSD. only point is you need to clone the OS into SSD from HDD or have fresh OS intall in the SSD
