@@ddcristo It was actually very easy once the cover was removed. Battery is not glued on, so remove the screws and unplug the ribbon cable.

Depends if you followed the steps 100%? A lot of people skip the battery drain step and fry their motherboard backlight circuit.

yo bro, I disassembled this laptop and I removed the the hard drive, CPU, and ram, and then when I cleaned the dust and put it back together it won't charge or turn on. is this because of a static charge? and how can i fix it

What backup? How did you make the backup?

​@@ItsBinhRepaired, it's done via the Lenovo OneKey Recovery System, you can press the Novo key or via the app. Explained in Chapter 3 of the User Guide.

You have to press the one key recovery button while the computer is off and select the recovery option.
