Mind testing android apps performance compared to another device running Android as the OS with the same or equivalent soc if you end up reviewing it? Last chromebook I had performed pretty bad when running Android apps for the chip it had and I'm interested in this one but the info I've been reading about if that got better its mixed.

when it debuted ChromeOS excited me, I admit it. Since then, after getting an old iPAD 3 as well trying ChromiumOS on a couple laptops I really lost most of my interest and I say that as a actually fan of Google ecosystem. Preffering instead to use just about any flavor of Linux Distro instead of GoogleOS. THAT SAID, I think Google was smart to finally integrate the ability to run ANDROID to some degree on ChromeOS, for the features, quality at the low price this will supposedly release at it really does seem like it could possibly be a pretty good deal for a portable media consumption device. Also, for reasons I cannot explain I always been attracted to the LENOVO brand.

crappy as tablet because of chrome OS, and a crappy laptop because it is too small. May be ok for tiny ladies who like to be very mobile and less fashionable. You can get something much better for not much more money, like a pixel slate or even fire hd 10

@@jarod3371 , fire HD 10 is 100 when on sale, is doing android better than chromebooks, and is better as a tablet. And any bigger chromebook is better than a tiny chromebook
